Radio Diwanistan verbindet musikalische Einflüsse aus Osteuropa, dem Nahen Osten und vom Balkan zu einem frischen neuen Sound, der zwischen orientalischer Partystimmung und osteuropäischem Blues, Improvisation, Eigenkompositionen, regionalen traditionellen Genres und dem Repertoire berühmter Interpreten fließend wechselt. Ein kosmopolitisches Gemisch, entstanden aus dem Duo Julia Rhomberg & Hassan Ibrahim Berzencî, die im Dialog, aber unterschiedlichen Sprachen singen. Eine explosive Kombination, die den Background der Musiker*innen widerspiegelt und mit dem das Ensemble bereits große Konzertsäle füllt. 

Radio Diwanistan combines musical influences from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Balkans to create a fresh new sound that changes smoothly between oriental party mood and Eastern European blues, improvisation, original compositions, regional traditional genres and the repertoire of famous interpreters. A cosmopolitan mixture emerged from the duo Julia Rhomberg & Hassan Ibrahim Berzenci, who sing in dialogue but in different languages, which reflects the background of the musicians and with which the ensemble is already reaching great audiences.
